Railway Telecommunication Engineer

We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of Railway Telecommunication Engineer.

Job summary

The responsibilities of the Railway Telecommunication Engineer include preparation, review and approval of technical documentation and coordination of technical designs. The geographical area of responsibility covers the whole Rail Baltica project corridor in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
 

We will entrust you to

• Elaborate and review project technical documentation, i.e. requirements, specifications, technical solutions, designs, bills of quantities
• Review deliverables produced by designers and/or suppliers
• Participate in project planning and implementation tasks
• Ensure technical coordination for designs
• Cooperate closely with project stakeholders: National Implementing Body, Engineer and Works Contractor

To succeed, you should have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, specialisation in the field of Telecommunications or Railways
• Proactivity and energetic personality with recorded work experience of at least 3 years as a Designer or Technical Project Manager in several design or construction projects for fibre optics, backbone transmission networks, voice communication systems, control or data centres
• Analytical mind and ability to see both the large picture and technical details
• Well-developed communication skills, with ability to effectively interact in person and remotely with both, the business partners and internal technical team members
